Today is Thursday, a great day for most people who work Monday to Friday because Thursday is “nearly the weekend”. Perhaps we shouldn’t think like that but we are all human. I had my Thursday yesterday because I am away from work tomorrow for a long weekend in Loch Lomond.
Having said that I didn’t realise yesterday was my Thursday until today. I am lucky enough to work in a fast paced office where time rarely drags and you are more likely to forget having that Thursday feeling completely. I am pretty sure this is similar to most of my colleagues here as well.
The point I am making however is that whilst anyone here at Customer Street is off the company still keeps working. In fact after the lights are turned off on a night time and after that unnerving hush has taken hold throughout the building the fact is Customer Street is still working away.
People are firing up their computers at home as they look to find a plumber because their central heating has just packed up, or they need to start ringing round to find nearest stables who will do riding lessons for their 10 year old daughter. We get all manner of searches and huge traffic volumes on an evening as well as during the day.
Customer Street and its associated directory brands and portals are there for customers 24/7 throughout the year. to make sure that our end user, your average Mr and Mrs Bloggs (no pun intended), can find whatever the business may be whenever they want it. Either directly through our directories or indirectly through a customers website we promote or a link in a search to our listings it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that its quick, easy and effective.
